How to Apply Gel Polish

1. Prepare the nails: File the nails into shape, gently push back the cuticles and lightly buff away the natural shine.
2. Cleanse: Remove dust, oil and residue using rubbing alcohol, IPA or nail cleanser on a lint-free wipe.
3. Apply base coat: Apply a thin layer of gel base coat, avoiding the skin and cuticles. Cap the free edge of each nail.
4. Cure the base: Cure under a compatible UV LED lamp according to the product and lamp instructions, commonly 30–60 seconds under LED or approximately two minutes under traditional UV.
5. Choose your colour: Use the included swatch book to select your preferred pastel shade.
6. Apply the colour: Brush on one thin coat and cap the free edge. Remove any gel touching the skin before curing.
7. Cure the colour: Cure for the recommended time. These highly pigmented shades are designed for one-coat coverage, but a second thin coat can be applied and cured if desired.
8. Apply top coat: Seal the colour with a thin layer of gel top coat, remembering to cap the free edge.
9. Final cure and cleanse: Cure once more. If using a wipe top coat, remove the sticky inhibition layer with rubbing alcohol or IPA to reveal the finished shine.
